PLEASE NOTE: This class is not designed to teach your child how to swim parents learn skills to help guide their child to the next level of swim lessons. A member from our Therapeutic Recreation Department will contact you for information that may be useful to our instructors. PLEASE NOTE: It is recommended that any participant with specific accommodations select the “Special Accommodation” box when registering. Our instructors do not go through special training however, we do have instructors on staff that have experience with participants who are on the spectrum or have physical disabilities. Our Aquatics unit prides itself on inclusive programming. Participants requiring special accommodations are encouraged to join all Aquatic programs. Therapeutic Instruction (Inclusion Services) Instruction with 4 or more participants for a more cost-effective way to learn how to swim. PLEASE NOTE: A third participant can be enrolled into a semi-private instruction class however, all three participants will be charged the Semi-Private instruction rate. It is recommended that both swimmers are similar in swim ability. Two-on-one lessons designed for any participant of all ages. To convert a private instruction into a semi-private, enroll one participant, then give the Aquatics office a call to add an additional participant at a pro-rated fee. Our instructors can give instruction to novice all the way to experienced swimmers.Īll PRIVATE INSTRUCTION classes can be converted into a semi-private class if a sibling or friend would like to join. Instructors will gear the lesson to the individual’s needs. Private Instructions for anyone under the age of 3 is not recommended but can be scheduled upon request.
